LICENSE CERTIFICATION FOR INDIANA INSURANCE PRODUCERS

8-HR. LTC CERTIFICATION - 7-HR. INDIANA PARTNERSHIP - 5-HR. LTC REFRESHER COURSE

In addition to holding the required insurance licenses (health or life/health), Indiana producers must complete long-term care insurance training prior to selling LTCI products. The following courses are required for LTCI sales:.
- An 8-hour, long-term care certification course required for all LTC producers
- A 5-hour LTC "refresher" CE course every two years required for all LTC-certified producers
- A 7-hour "partnership" LTC course is required in addition to the 8-hour course for certification to sell Indiana Partnership LTC policies.

LIVE CLASSROOM STUDENTS will receive an e-mail prior to your class with directions, hours, and class procedures. Classes are held at the ICT Training Center, 2910 E. 96th Street, Suite A, Indianapolis, IN, 46240.

WEBINAR STUDENTS will receive an e-mail with login instructions one business day prior to class. After class, we will file your credits with the state and send you a certificate for your records. All class hours WILL COUNT toward your required CE hours for your next insurance license renewal for Indiana producers!

Indiana producers must complete an approved 8-hour LTC certification course to be qualified to sell LTC policies. This course qualifies producers to sell LTC policies in Indiana. To sell LTC Partnership policies in Indiana, producers must also complete an approved 7-hour LTC Partnership certification course (scroll down this page for Partnership course schedule).

Indiana producers certified in LTC sales must complete at least five hours of LTC-related CE courses each license renewal cycle. This course qualifies producers for their required LTC refresher course hours.
