Course Description

A SUCCESSFUL INSURANCE AGENT LOST HIS CAREER, HIS WEALTH AND HIS HOME!

ETHICAL CONDUCT & SUITABILITY is the story of Glenn Neasham, a California insurance agent who came to work one day and had an interaction with a customer that ultimately devastated his life. After selling an insurance product to an older customer, Glenn found himself in legal jeopardy. He became the first insurance producer in American history to be arrested, charged and convicted of a crime based on selling an insurance product.

Glenn lost his career, his wealth and his home as the situation played out. His case underscores the need for all insurance producers to be diligent in their sales processes and when dealing with suitability issues. The Glenn Neasham case sent shock waves through the insurance industry and continues to spark discussion today.
