WELCOME DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA INSURANCE PRODUCERS!
CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - Producers are required to complete 24 hours of Continuing Education every two years, three hours of which must be in the subject of ethics. Your state allows you to complete any of our approved CE course to meet your CE requirements. For instance, a producer with a Life & Health license may take an auto insurance CE course for credit or a Property & Casualty producer may take a CE course on Life insurance. You may not repeat the same course within the same renewal period. In the District of Columbia, you may not take more than one of our 3-hour ethics courses per renewal cycle.
FLOOD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS - Property & Casualty producers must complete a one-time, 3-hour FEMA Flood course. Our course, Fundamentals of FEMA Flood Insurance, offered below, meets your state’s flood training requirement.
ANNUITY CERTIFICATION – Producers who sell annuity products must complete a 4-hour annuity certification course. Our course, Fundamentals of Annuities, offered below, meets the annuity training requirement for your state, including the “best interest” training if required.
