Welcome Florida Insurance Producers!

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - Producers are required to complete 24 hours of Continuing Education every two years. If a Florida producer has held a resident license longer than 6 years, only 20 hours of CE are required.

Within their required CE hours, all Florida producers must include a 4-hour Law & Ethics course during their license renewal:

  • FL Law & Ethics (2-15) is an approved Law & Ethics course for all 2-15 Life & Health agents.
  • FL Law & Ethics (2-20) is an approved Law & Ethics course for all 2-20 General Lines producers, 4-40 Customer Service Representatives, and Industrial Fire Licensees.
  • ICT does NOT OFFER Law & Ethics CE for adjusters, Title Agents, or Bail Bond (Surety) agents.

All courses listed below are approved elective classes for Florida producers. For example, Life & Health agents not licensed in Property & Casualty may still take the courses listed in BLUE below. You may not repeat the same course within twenty-four months of previously completing the course. To confirm what you have taken previously, please review your CE transciprt thru the Department of Insurance.

ADJUSTERS can take ANY Property & Casualty or Ethics course for elective credits. Life & Health classes listed below in PINK are NOT approved for FL adjusters. ICT does not offer a Law & Ethics course for Florida resident adjusters.

FLOOD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS - Property & Casualty producers must complete a one-time, 3-hour FEMA Flood course.  Our course, Fundamentals of FEMA Flood Insurance, offered below, meets your state’s flood training requirement.

ANNUITY CERTIFICATION – Producers who sell annuity products must complete a 4-hour annuity certification course.  Our course, Fundamentals of Annuities, offered below, meets the annuity training requirement for your state, including the “best interest” training if required.
