CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - Producers are required to complete 60 hours of continuing education for their first license renewal during the thirty-six month license period. At least three of the 60 hours must be in the subject matter of ethics. Licensees must complete 45 hours of continuing education credit every three years after the initial three year period. At least three of the 45 hours must be in the subject matter of ethics. Your state allows you to complete any of our approved CE course to meet your CE requirements. For instance, a producer with a Life & Health license may take an auto insurance CE course for credit or a Property & Casualty producer may take a CE course on Life insurance. You may not repeat the same course title twice within 36 months of completing it. FLOOD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS - Property & Casualty producers must complete a one-time, 3-hour FEMA Flood course. Our course, Fundamentals of FEMA Flood Insurance, offered below, meets your state’s flood training requirement.
ANNUITY CERTIFICATION – Producers who sell annuity products must complete a 4-hour annuity certification course. Our course, Fundamentals of Annuities, offered below, meets the annuity training requirement for your state, including the “best interest” training if required.
